Quick troubleshooting sequence

Don’t doubt everything at the same time. Most problems can be quickly narrowed down by following the order of 'Project Configuration -> Original Screenshot Input -> Copywriting -> Preview -> Rendering -> Account Verification'.

Auto Capture and Deep Link Questions

Why is Run this size disabled?Usually because the project has no Auto screen, one or more Auto screens still miss deep links, the device or simulator is not selected, or the iOS link uses https instead of an app-scheme deep link.
How do I skip the launch screen?Do not try to crop it away later. Point the first screen deep link directly to the target page. If that page also needs state preparation, run a setup link first, then open the screen deep link.
What if the app needs demo data or login before capture?Put those actions into Run setup link before capture. The setup link should bootstrap the demo user, environment, flags, and login state before the real screen link runs.
Why does iOS deep link automation reject https links?Because Simulator may show a system confirmation dialog for universal links. That breaks batch capture. Use an app-scheme deep link such as myapp://paywall instead.
Can I use different URLs for iOS and Android?Yes. Use the real route that is stable on each platform. The tool does not require identical URLs across platforms.

Upload, Copy, Export, and Billing Questions

Why does Parse and apply not populate my copy?Use columns in this order: locale, shot, title, subtitle. Use | as delimiter, and wrap fields with double quotes when they contain |/newline/quotes; each locale + shot must match the project.
Can the first screen be a poster instead of a screenshot?Yes. Keep the screen definition for ordering, switch it to Hidden, and produce the poster in your template or render flow instead of treating it as a raw screenshot slot.
Why is export blocked even though render finished?Render checks visual output. Export also checks account state, plan entitlements, and whether at least one size is ready for export.
Do failed exports consume quota?No. Successful exports count. Failed exports do not consume the monthly export allowance.
Why do my app and web accounts look different?You most likely signed in with different providers. If the website account was created with Google, the app must also use Google for the same account identity.

When to contact Support

Keep the evidence first

Don't rush to clear the project directory. First keep the logs, failed raw, renders and export error screenshots in the .autostoreshots project folder.

If it is an Auto Capture problem, it is best to add another screenshot of the Auto Capture page and device selection status.

Say 5 things at once when submitting a ticket

Please indicate your project platform, locale where the problem occurred, screen name, capture size and specific error text.

If the problem is related to deep link, please paste the deep link / setup link you are using.

If the problem only occurs with a certain account, include the login email and the login provider you use.

Logged-in users go directly to Account Support.
