The workflow problem
The hard part is rarely one screenshot size. The work grows when every screen has to be repeated across devices, locales, and copy revisions. A five-screen app with two device classes and eight languages already creates eighty final images before you count late copy changes.
Release checklist
- Decide whether the release needs iPhone only or iPhone plus iPad coverage.
- Prepare one source copy table for every screen and locale before exporting.
- Capture real app screens first, then apply frames, background, and marketing text.
- Check the hardest localizations before exporting every language.
- Export final folders by platform, device class, locale, and screen order.
